Study for tomorrow's 1790 Map Quiz!!! Make sure you know the following:
States name and locations (as of 1790)
Mississippi River and Ohio River -- two key rivers creating natural boundries
Atlantic Ocean and Gulf of Mexico
Appalachian River
Territories controlled by Britain and Spain
The following should also be pretty familiar to you: Savannah River, Potomac River, Hudson River, Connecticut River, Delaware River -- The Great Lakes (H.O.M.E.S) -- Huron, Ontario, Michigan, Erie, Superior
You should have your own corrected map to use as a study guide. You might also consider looking at the textbook (pgs. xxii, 228, 215 all have maps to refer to)
