For Periods 1,6, and 7: Your Writing Maps are due tomorrow
For Periods 3,4: Your Writing Maps are due Thursday.
Please make sure that you have done the following:
1) rewritten your thesis to reflect you as the author (try to avoid using words from the question: 'beneficial' or 'harmful')
2) make sure your claims are in complete sentences, again paying more attention to your word choice
3) make sure your evidence supports your claims in a compelling, convincing way (be specific!)
4) make sure your evidence is cited (where is it from? who said it?)
5) attempted a hook for your introduction
6) begun brainstorming your intro/conclusion (you don't have to have the full paragraphs written, but you should start thinking about what big ideas you're going to include)
If you have a flash drive, please bring it in so you can save your work.
Finally, you can go right to the computer lab (Room 208).
