Please continue reading, and marking up the reading we started in class about African Americans in Philadelphia. Remember, the strongest readers are doing 5-6 different things as they read. Whether you are asking questions, looking up a difficult word, re-reading a sentence that is particularly challenging, or simply restating a main idea in words that make sense to you...all of these things will help you understand what you are reading better, and also help you remember it MUCH longer!
