Marking Up and Hamilton vs. Jefferson reading

Make sure you are using the strategies we discussed in class:

1. Summarizing/paraphrasing the important details of each paragraph
2. Skimming and Predicting
3. Define unfamiliar words
4. Ask Questions (philosophical, practical, curiosity)
5. Predict what you think will happen next
6. Connections -- to self, world
7. Draw -- Doodle with a purpose!
8. Write your own reaction/opinion
9. List any outstanding questions you still have.

If you work 100% focussed for 30/35 minutes and are not done, you can have your parents sign the reading and stop for the night. You will be expected to finish the reading tomorrow night.
