Ok, everyone is ready to start thinking how they are going to start the planning phase of this Lowell Mill Girl project.
This weekend you are tasked with taking a 1st pass at writing a thesis statement -- basically a single sentence answer to the essay question. Review pg 4 in the Writing in History writing packet for some more guidance.
You are also to start completing your Thinking Map. This means completing 1 claim with 5-6 pieces of evidence that support that claim. Review pgs 5-6 in your Writing in History writing packet for some more guidance.
This is due on Monday 10/31
If you are working on Option 2 or 3, you are still in research mode. This means you should be spending your time doing more research. I gave out Thinking Maps (either 2 bubble maps for Option 2 or a Double Bubble Map for Option 3) for you to start filling out. You are not responsible for completing a Tree Map that have your claims/evidence b/c you are still working on expanding your knowledge at this point. You'll complete the Tree Map on Mon/Tues of next week.
