During class today, and for homework tonight, you are tasked with learning more about some of the battles fought during the Civil War.
Using the website below, read about battles that take place between Fort Sumter (April 12, 1861) and Antietam (Sept 17-19, 1862). Then, fill out the timeline handed out in class. Basically, you are responsible for learning about and taking notes on 5 battles that take place within the timeframe above. Your timeline should include Fort Sumter as the 1st battle and Antietam as the 5th battle. The other 3 are your choice. But, pay attention to the dates of the battles because any battle that takes place AFTER Antietam can NOT be used for this timeline.
